Minnesota dispatched the Cowboys in impressive fashion Sunday afternoon 34-3. The Vikings defense punished Dallas quarterback Tony Romo all afternoon, sacking him six times. Minnesota forced three Cowboys turnovers and the defense produced 13 negative yardage plays against the Dallas offense.
Brett Favre on the other hand had a good game. The Vikings quarterback threw four touchdown passes on the day, three of them to Sidney Rice. Favre connected with Rice on scoring tosses of 47, 16, and 45 yards.
Minnesota fined the season as the NFC’s second seed.
